Just a wee bit more.....

I am enjoying this fondue stuff more than you can imagine.....the next time we have cheese fondue we are going to try using chicken broth instead of the wine. 
I melted the cheese by using the fondue pot as a double boiler. 

I need to locate "denatured" alcohol to be used for the copper fondue pot.  I used that liquid gel fuel, but I could not get much in the fuel holder and I don't know if the temperature was correct.  The caramel was in that pot, it burnt a little on the bottom but it did not have a burnt taste.
